A very light weight variant on the Byzantine chainmail weave. Just over 27″ in length.
The black and silver necklace is a perfect accessory and goes with almost any color clothing, making a particularly effective statement on solid colors.
The design has a bit of an industrial / Steampunk vibe to it.
You’ll see from the pictures that I take a great deal of care with my craft: The links are all hand closed and very tightly seamed. Well-made chainmail is smooth when someone runs a hand over it–it won’t scratch you and won’t snag on your clothes.
The clasp I used here is a silver toggle that is easy for a person to put on and take off.
